A living room in the evening with the Vekto Stick standing on its own in the middle of the rug
About Vekto

It started on a Sunday, with a pair of scissors.

The cordless vacuum on the wall had cost more than the washing machine. It was two years old, it gave nine minutes on the setting that actually picked anything up, and every Sunday one of us sat on the kitchen floor cutting hair off the roller.

The story

The cheap one died. The expensive one wrapped.

A generic vacuum floor head upside down on a kitchen floor, its roller wound tight with hair, scissors beside it

The first cordless vacuum was the cheap one, and its battery gave up inside a year. The second cost four times as much and came in a beautiful box. By month thirteen the battery gave nine minutes on the setting that picked anything up. The cup filled twice on one floor. The brush roll wrapped solid every week. And the battery could not be replaced. The brand said so.

So we asked a simple question. What if the machine were built around the three things every owner complains about? A battery that does the whole house on one charge, with the head on. A roller that strips hair off itself instead of wrapping it. A clear cup big enough that a whole house is one empty. Then the small things nobody advertises. It stands up where you leave it. The light on the head shows you what you missed. Every tool is in the box.

None of that turned out to be difficult. It was just cheaper not to do it.

We called it Vekto, from vector: a force and a direction. A vacuum is exactly that, how hard it pulls and where you point it.

Every Vekto comes with a 2-year warranty that covers the battery, and 60 days at home to decide, because the thing that made you give up on the last one is not going to happen with this one.

Three standards

Three things every Vekto has to pass.

The whole house on one charge.

With the head on, on the setting you actually use. Not a number from a bare tube on a bench. If a machine cannot do a real home in one go, it does not get made.

every room, then the car
Nothing you have to fight.

A roller that strips its own hair. A cup that is one empty per run. A stick that stands where you leave it. If a part makes you sit on the floor with scissors, the answer is no.

no scissors, no leaning, no second trip
Two years, battery included.

A 2-year warranty that covers the battery, spares in stock for five years, and sixty days at home to decide, no restocking fee. A cordless that dies with its warranty is not a Vekto.

What you get

"Read the whole page twice looking for the catch, because every one of these says it does the whole house until you get it home. Six weeks in, it does upstairs, downstairs and the car with the light still green, and I have not once flipped the head over to find hair. That is all I ever wanted from one of these."
